Our physio yoga classes are suited to mums of bubs from 6 weeks of age to pre-crawling. Classes include yoga postures tailored to strengthen and stabilise the body after pregnancy, release patterns of tightness from caring for baby 24/7, decrease stress and develop attunement and connection between mum and bub. Mindfulness themes inform each class to promote positive maternal mental health.
We highly recommend a Post Natal Assessment with one of our physiotherapists to ensure correct activation of the pelvic floor and transverse abdominal muscles prior to joining the class. Mums booked into Pilates mums n bubs who need make up classes are welcome to join Physio Yoga mums n bubs, if numbers allow.
