Happy New Year!
I hope you’ve all had a relaxing and restful break. Time to connect with loved ones, finding that all-important down time. We made our annual pilgrimage to the North Coast of NSW, visiting family and friends. We were fortunate to avoid the fires, as much of it passed through the North Coast before the Christmas break. Our heart goes out to all who have been affected by these unprecedented events.
A New Year always brings a moment of pause and reflection. We reset intentions for the year ahead. Our mission at AJ Physio & Sydney Pelvic Clinic remains the same; to deliver high quality patient outcomes to our community. We are here to support your journey towards better levels of health and wellbeing. Whether this be to avoid injury through preventative exercise, staying strong through your child-bearing year, managing physical health during a cancer journey, recovering from gynaecological or orthopaedic surgery or perhaps learning to better manage those pesky aches and pains. Our team of highly skilled therapists are here to help you achieve your goals. As 2020 rolls in, I encourage you all to prioritise your health. Health sets a strong foundation from which everything else pivots.
Here in the clinic, we are back into full swing with normal clinic hours and our summer classes under way. There is still time to join the classes, so contact the ever-efficient and friendly admin team, or book in online. Term 1 begins on Tue 28 Jan and bookings are now open. Looking forward to seeing you all back into your class routines soon!
Our tip of the month comes from our physiotherapist, Rhyannon Spring, where she discusses recovery following a caesarean section. We see many women who are unsure on how to best look after their bodies after this surgery. We hope to empower women with good advice in this article. As always, please feel free to share our resources to people who would benefit.
Yours in Health,
